SPECIAL MEETING of the SHHA MEMBERSHIP

Per SHHA Bylaws Section 5.2.2, the Board of Directors calls a SHHA Special Meeting for January 23, 2025 at 6:30 pm

In the downstairs room of the Church of the Good Shepherd, 7834 Tennyson NE (Entrance on the North side, lower parking lot).

This meeting has been requested by a signed petition from a group of Sandia Heights residents. The purpose of the meeting is to:

"address concerns brought by the Board during 2024, and to open a fully transparent dialog between the SHHA membership and the Board in order that both groups can successfully resolve these concerns."

Specifically:

(1) The Board's current status and disposition for Universal Membership

(2) The Board's current status and disposition for Damage Assessments

(3) No procedures or policies in place to provide checks and balances, or otherwise prevent corruption/abuse, for the above

(4) Why questions from the February 2024 Annual Meeting have not been addressed even as late as October 2024.

(5) The Board's progressive assertion of having the authority of a Homeowners Association (HoA), when in fact it is not an HoA under the New Mexico HoA Act.

(6) The use of workshops where Board business is discussed and conducted but where minutes are not required to be kept and reported to the SHHA membership.

(7) The use of Executive Sessions where minutes are not required to be kept and reported to SHHA membership.
