The Information Technology Committee (ITC) has the responsibilities of architecting the technology and administering the data governance procedures required to provide access to, and preserve the data of, SHHA.
The committee shall consist of at least three members, two of whom are board members, and at least one of whom is on the EC.
The ITC shall require the agreement of two ITC members, one of whom is on the EC, for changes to data-access privileges and/or creation of accounts.
The committee shall create and maintain an “IT Policies and Procedures Manual”, both for the ITC members, paid staff, and other SHHA volunteers with data access. This shall be a board-approved document.
The committee shall report at the monthly board meeting.
Implementation and administration may be via committee oversight of office staff or a paid outside entity.
The committee shall conduct quarterly audits of accounts and access privileges. Two committee members shall approve the audits.
